rferry
My prediction: Hee-Seop Choi clubs Cordero over the head and hits a winning grand slam in his place. Oh, and Oliver gives us eight innings. Bet on it! :marlins :happydance :happydance :happydance
Hugg
15-13, Marlins. Oliver gives up 7 in the first, but "calms down" and only gives up 2 runs in each of the next 3 innings and then McKeon finally pulls him (although it'll be too late to save most of us, as our heads will have exploded). The Marlins will then fight valiantly, putting up a 5 run 5th, a 3 run 6th, and a 4 run 8th, pulling to within 1. In the top of the ninth, with men on first and second and one out, OMG NUNEZ will stride to the plate as a pinch hitter, hitting 5th (double switch, long story)...and he'll strike out because he's not very good. But, then Cordero will hit a 3-run bomb, Mando will shut it down, and we'll all celebrate. Either that or we're win 6-4. You make the call. WildMarlinMan2003
Oliver gives up 7 ER and Jack leaves him in again. We still find a way to win 9-8.

WildMarlinMan2003
cbs sportsline had Easley starting at SS. I wish that was correct.
rferry
Wouldn't Mordi start before Easley if Alex was to serve his suspension (I'm guessing he's strill waiting on the appeal)
WildMarlinMan2003
Go look at cbs sportsline. Easley is in the lineup. I don't know which lineup is correct but Easley is a better hitter than AGon and Mordi.
rferry
Hmm.. Sportsline and MLB Gameday have Easley. Yahoo Sports has Alex.
WildMarlinMan2003
That is why I don't use Yahoo. It isn't good for sports. Sportsline seems to have the least problems like running slow and such.
rferry
It would seem odd to give Alex a day off before his appeal for a 3-game suspension is sorted out.

rferry
But no point in giving your starting SS a day off when come Monday he may learn he may need to sit for another 3 days.

nc marlin
But no point in giving your starting SS a day off when come Monday he may learn he may need to sit for another 3 days. I thought I saw somewhere where his agent or something said the appeals process could last until June or something like that.

rferry
Luiy works a full count then grounds out to third. And the Spurs lead the Lakers at the end of the 1st quarter. And now Cabrera taps a grounder to the pitcher.
