PBMarlin
Possibly a test for tejera before a weekend callup? If he pitches well do you think he would be? Very interesting. Tejera starting today would place him right in the 5th spot of the rotation. Have they adjusted his start date, or is it just coincidental Tejera starts today? farmer_fran
The mudcats play a double header today and both games are being streamed by gomudcats.com. The first game starts at 5:00. http://www.gomudcats.com/ Unfortunately for Ramp Hutchinson won't be starting for the cats. The starters are Ronald Belizario and Peter Bauer, who has been very impressive so far this season.
farmer_fran
I just found this at Baseballamerica.com and thought it was interesting. ? Class A Jupiter outfielder Jeremy Hermida could be back in North Carolina soon. Hermida, the Marlins' No. 1 prospect who batted .284-6-49 for low Class A Greensboro last season, is hitting .392-2-14 in 79 at-bats for the Hammerheads and could make the jump to Double-A Carolina quickly. I hope they don't move him up until after May 22nd that's when the hammerheads head up to Brevard to play the Manatees and I was looking forward to seeing him play. PBMarlin
The announcer did mention the 3 ERs are the most Tejera has given up all season. They are playing in Colorado Springs...and it sounded like the two balls just carried in the thin air. Doesn't it remind you of Denver? He got 2 Ks to end the inning. MarlinsFans46
The announcer did mention the 3 ERs are the most Tejera has given up all season. Actually, 2 ER is the highest total he's given up so far. He also just had a 9 or 10 pitch at bat, after fouling pitch after pitch before finally bouncing out.

Marlins2003
tejera certainly isn't helping his cause tonight. 3-2 skysox, three more hits that inning.
MarlinsFans46
In his defense, Matt Padgett misplayed a liner that should have been caught.
