Useless Stadium Report on NBC6

Featured Replies

did anyone catch this stupid report. they were analyzing that the 325 mil will not do. the report was filed by ike seamans another anti-marlin reporter on NBC 6 along with hank tester. a stadium analyst said that the marlins stadium deal was bad for the county because of the overruns. let me ask this question: how the f*** could a stadium deal be bad for the government when the team woukld pay the overruns. they kept restating how miller park cost 750 mil more than they estimated. they failed to mention miller park is a bahemoth compared to what the amrlins wanted to build. they also mentioned on the brewers wasted almost a billion dollars in tax money. this report was a load of crap and a waste of ike seamans loser time.

BTW: the said the deal is so shaky it is on the verge of collapse. LOL

another organization trying to destroy the marlins.

the marlins already upped the estimate to 365. NBC hasn't done their homework.

houston built a stadium (completed in 2000 I believe) for 250 million. as far as the stadium itself, i think a lot of it is about avoiding cost overruns & controlling construction costs. if it's planned well, they'll be fine. if not, well.... have you seen the miami performing arts center being built?
