May 9, 200422 yr I love these things. Three of the happiest hours I'll spend all year. If only they'd cut out those sappy montages that show all the losers who've been voted out, then everything would be perfect. But even the crappy montages have been improved the last couple go-rounds. I know these shows by heart now--you got your typical episode for the first 45 minutes or so, then you get a segment of "I can't believe it's almost over; down to 3 now; blah blah", then you get your crappy montage, then you get your final endurance challenge, then another segment of "I can't belive it's almost over; down to 2 now", then you get the jury questions (always great fun), then your vote, then your completely overdramatic reveal of the vote, followed by the hour reunion show. It's like clockwork. And it never gets old. Anyway, Survivor fans...feel free to make your predictions here. Here's how I see things unfolding: Either Rob (smart and athletic) or Amber (smart and pretty athletic (and hot!)) will win the immunity over Rupert (slow and stupid) or Jenna (slow and stupid). Rupert may have a shot in a brute strength challenge, but they're not going to pull one of those out at this stage of the game. Jenna will then flip over to join Rob and Amber in ousting Rupert, for reasons that I can explain if asked. She'll do this if she's at all sensible, which she may not be, after all. Rob will then win the final endurance challenge. Probably. Last couple of seasons these things have gone to the last person I'd have picked--which, if the trend continues, would be Jenna. But I see Rob winning because he's a winner, and I'm pretty sure he'll pick Amber, figuring people resent her almost as much as they resent him. And also because she's hot and he seems to enjoy her company, if you know what I mean. Rob and Amber. Who will win? That's a really tough call, and probably impossible to predict because Mark Burnett always manages to hide a little bit of the jury's attitudes towards the final two. I'm going to go with Amber in a 4-3 vote...because she's hot. The reunion show's going to be pretty crazy too. I hear Sue Hawk got a makeover. If ever anyone needed one... :whistle Well, I think I've gone on long enough. Anyone else have any thoughts?
May 9, 200422 yr If rupert wins the next immunity he has it won. They would be smart to take out Amber next. Rupert will win easily against anyone who is against him in the final two. Rob has no chance unless he can come up with a damn good speech for the final vote.
May 9, 200422 yr Author If rupert wins the next immunity he has it won. They would be smart to take out Amber next. Rupert will win easily against anyone who is against him in the final two. Rob has no chance unless he can come up with a damn good speech for the final vote. Rupert needs both immunities to win. I figure his chances of victory are the slimmest of the final four by virtue of the fact that no one else wants him in the final two.
May 9, 200422 yr True, I have a feeling he will be in the final two though. If Jenna were to win, I dont know what Id do. She didint deserve to be on all-stars in the first place.
May 9, 200422 yr Funniest s*** ever: www.realitysucks.tv, survivor recaps. Dude has a serious hard-on for Amber.
May 9, 200422 yr I hope Rupert can win it all. Also the commercial for tonight said there is going to be a huge surprise.
May 9, 200422 yr The CBS.com site is talking about one person being challenged to break an alliance. My money is on Jenna.
May 9, 200422 yr Author Yeah, 8-11 tonight. I don't know if I'm rooting for Rob or Amber. It may be that I just don't care which of the two wins, but I always root for people who play the game well. Rupert still doesn't know how to play. He's a nice guy with good survival skills, but if people like him were to win every season, the show would be so boring. I'd be happy if Rupert won, but I'd much prefer Rob or Amber.
May 9, 200422 yr Rupert is a big baby. He's thinks that winning is his birthright, and if someone plays the game better than him, he whines that he'll never trust anyone again. Boo frickin' hoo. I'm rooting for Rob.
May 9, 200422 yr The best player the game has ever seen other than Richard Hatch was Johnny Fairplay from Pearl Islands. This season would have been better with him on it and say, Jenna L. out.
May 9, 200422 yr Author The best player the game has ever seen other than Richard Hatch was Johnny Fairplay from Pearl Islands. This season would have been better with him on it and say, Jenna L. out. Fairplay would have been more fun than a few of these people...Shii Ann comes to mind too. I don't think he was a better player than Rob Cesternino, though. Fairplay was a little reckless and a little short-tempered--he got in his share of fights for sure. Cesternino was more subtle, and he'd have won the damn thing if Jenna Morasca didn't win the final immunity challenge that season.
May 10, 200422 yr Big Tom's immunity speech topped Sues from Season 1, that was so funny when he pulled his hand back from Rob.
May 10, 200422 yr Big Tom's immunity speech topped Sues from Season 1, that was so funny when he pulled his hand back from Rob. hell yeah I was laughing so hard. :lol
May 10, 200422 yr Author Big Tom and Lex are both hypocritical morons. Two of the most immature, stupid people ever to grace this show. They both looked like idiots in tribal council. Amazingly, Shii Ann had the best approach. Just for that, I'm glad she got the car. I thought the finale was very satisfying. And it's cool that they're basically giving Rupert a million dollars. He's a nice guy...just not a good Survivor. Also, I would just like to point out that I called just about everything but the wedding. I'm so awesome.
May 10, 200422 yr Im not sure if "Amber" really deserved it, she was just more likable than Boston Rob, who basically ran the show from Day 1. She was simply the more likeable of the two to those on the jury. The fan voting is pretty stupid IMO, but I have a pretty good feeling how the voting will go... 1) Rupert (my 2nd favorite) 2) Colby --------Wont matter after these------------ Also, I have heard rumors that there might be a second chance survivor game, sort of like the "almost" all-stars...i.e Greg, Gervis, Fairplay, etc... Thoughts?
May 11, 200422 yr How would a second chance survivor be any different than the All Stars. There were only a few winners on the All Stars and they were all targeted early.
