May 13, 200422 yr NWA: TNA announced on last week?s pay per view that they had a huge announcement to make at this week?s show that will ?change the face of NWA: TNA forever.? As you can probably guess that announcement is indeed the debut of TNA on Fox Sports Net. The show will be called NWA: TNA Impact! and will debut on Fox Sports Net on Friday, June 4th a 3 pm Eastern. FSN has signed TNA for the next 52 weeks and if they perform well in that timeslot there is a good possibility that they will be moved to a better timeslot on down the line. NWA: TNA Impact! will be taped on Thursdays (starting on June 3rd) in Orlando, Florida. The current plan is to continue on with the weekly PPVs on Wednesday in Nashville, TN and then charter a flight to bring talent to Florida the next morning. This is something that several within TNA have worked extremely hard for and will indeed forever change the company. It should be interesting to see the national reaction to NWA: TNA as this should reveal if they are actually valid competition to WWE.
June 19, 200422 yr Friday at 3pm: what's their target audience, the unemployed? Well most kids love wrestling and well school is out....
June 19, 200422 yr Has anybody watched this yet, I forgot about it yesterday. I watched it was Ok alot of it is like WCW Jarret is still know for his guitar dosent that ever get old?
June 21, 200422 yr I saw the first episode. It was pretty decent. They user their cruiserweight far better than the WWE does. The hexagon ring is interesting.
June 21, 200422 yr I saw the second episode (forgot to tape the first one). It's something different, that's all I'll say about it for now, til' I see more of it.
June 23, 200422 yr They signed Jeff Hardy to a one show deal but it's just for tomorrow night's PPV. For TNA's sake, I hope the fans react a little differently to him than the ROH fans did in his first match after being fired from WWE.
June 24, 200422 yr is sting in NWA? He appeared in a couple of shows, but it's been a while since he's been on.
June 25, 200422 yr I am watching right now and so far like what I see. It reminds me of WCW (the memories ) I like the style of wrestling especially the X division and I also like seeing guys that I havent seen in a while like Shane Douglas and Road Dogg. I hope though that it dosent get stale like WCW towards the end with Russo and Jarret involved in every story line.
