rferry
2000. Oops. No, that was Atlanta.
Rune
It's probably going to be Florida or The New Expo's that get the next all star game when it comes to The NL East. Even with the new stadium, THe Phils probably wouldn't get it seeing that is was there in 95.
Passion
I dont think that is teal, morel ike navy for the Tigreses.
Guest Moneyball
with the new explosion of NL parks, mr. bud selig has to get rid of WS homefield advantage crap and get rid of the alternating league crap because some of these new parks might not get a game for 15 years. you wanna show off the product while it's new. My idea: 2005 DET Central 2006 SF West 2007 PNC Central 2008 STL East 2009 ANA West 2010 MIA East 2011 CIN Central 2012 ARI West
Mark
Comerica is not the best place for a HR Derby. There aren't even seats lining the outfield wall in either corner. There is the bullpen in right and the area where the fence was brought up in left. Anyways, it's a beautiful stadium and will be a good all star game host. Detroit is a great baseball town. Oh, and I LOVE that logo because of the olde english. Beautiful.

MVPosey
If by here you mean Pittsburgh. 462292[/snapback] Pittsburgh opened after the Giants park. Look at it this way: Pac Bell opened in 2000, same year as Enron/ Astros/ Minute Maid and Comerica. Houston's getting it this year, Detroit's getting it next year, so we should get it the year after, especially since it will be Bonds final year, at least in a Giants uniform. Marlins2k3Champs
There won't be an All Star game in the Marlins field until they have a new ballpark. I can guarantee you that. No way there will be one in PPS.
rferry
I thoght Bud and the owners weren't going to put a game at PacBell/SBC because it was privately financed. The same will probably happen with St. Louis.

CapeFish
Pittsburgh had the 1994 game. The D'Backs, Rays, and Marlins have still not hosted one game.
