& what's nicer is he's under contract, & it's affordable....

2005: $3.2M

2006: Team option $3.3M or $1.1M buyout

2007: Team option $4.0M or $1.1M buyout

so thats a plus

only thing I dislike is moving Choi, but I guess Niner goes to 1st with Enc playing RF

if Enc comes back I hope he rejuvenates himself here because he has had a subpar year thus far

I would like the Mota move

Ishii's career numbers post-All Star break:

5-10, 6.24 ERA, 1.78 WHIP

Ishii's career numbers away from Dodger stadium:

17-12, 5.17 ERA, 1.67 WHIP

Ishii's numbers this year away from Dodger stadium:

5-3, 6.37 ERA, 1.79 WHIP

Overall I like the move but there's some red flags with those numbers.

from the Sentinel He (Ishii) also has a 10-team, no-trade clause, and the Marlins were on his list of undesired locations last year.

It was unknown if Ishii again submitted the Marlins this spring as a team to which he could not be traded without permission.

hmmm, that could throw a wrench in the machine...

Ishii also has a limited no-trade clause..... something like 10 teams he'll approve a trade to. I'm sure he can waive it but I have no idea which teams that includes.

I'm sure the Marlins are on that list considering we're the defending world champions.
