TealMonster
i guess its pretty cool we got him back, especially if he gets hot. still wish we could of got walker :thumbup
QuickGold
Obviously I'd take Walker over him, but I'm glad that he's back in teal.
farmer_fran
hate it. I think we could have maybe gotten an upgrade over Valdez or another bullpen arm for him. He'll become worthless when Cordero comes back off the DL.
WildMarlinMan2003
I like it. I predict he hits .300 the rest of the year, helping us reach the postseason.
Fish2Repeat
enc never did anything wrong by us. im worried bout him and Jack's relationship a lil bit, hope theres no spite remaining there, besides that the only thing i dont like about it is hearing the EXTREMELY ANNOYING 4 3 2 JUAN chant. marlins24
After last year, he is a bad pickup unless we can trade him soon.

Malman
hate it. I think we could have maybe gotten an upgrade over Valdez or another bullpen arm for him. He'll become worthless when Cordero comes back off the DL. 486923[/snapback] Alright Fran, I think it's time to lighten up. Enc is here to stay. Let's hope for the best. He did have some nice moments last year and will at the very least significantly upgrade our outfield defense. It's not like Choi was the second coming of Jim Thome. :cheers

Miami 305
i like it .... he has power and plays amazing defense....hopefully he can bring his average up...but this definatley improves our defense in the OF and gives us more speed ... and some pop to go along with him
farmer_fran
hate it.? I think we could have maybe gotten an upgrade over Valdez or another bullpen arm for him.? Easley's earned a chance to start for now, Enc has earned a spot on the bench with his season, and despite the slow start Cordero is quality hitter and I think he'll take over at 1st base when he comes back off the DL. CapeFish
Enc can only go up from here. His glove is excellent, his bat can't slump forever, and he has speed.
SongInTheAir
Choi is going to develop into a Russel Branyan type player...TOO MANY STRIKEOUTS, but good power numbers
DTrizzle
i dont know about the rest of you but i think farmer fran needs to chill out and quit bitching this is the best that we can do, we aren't the freaking yankees

Let's at least give Enc a chance to prove himself. Who knows what his problem was in LA? If he doesn't perform over the next week or so...I'm sure Jack won't hesitate to play Easley (or Cordero when he is activated). I assume Cordero won't be back for a least a couple of weeks. I would expect a minor league regab assignment of at least 5 or 6 games for Will
CapeFish
Enc's problem in LA is Dodger Stadium and it's those death valley power alleys.
Iowa
Enc's defense is awesome hopefully his bat can improve with the move but the OBP isnt really that necessary for a guy who is gonna bat 7th.. we just need him to be a run producer.

I now realize that Enc will be a part of this team, but I still believe that we have better hitters on our bench than Enc. You are the guys that need to lighten up, I'm sorry I'm not a homer like everyone else.

Dancin'_Homer
Like it! Even with injuries and a crummy BA he has 43 RBIs this year. Encarnacion is clutch. I don't think he got enough appreciation last year.
