Wow his prices have gone up last year he came to Coral Square Mall and I got him to sign a ball for $10.

Wait a minute your telling me they actually charge you to get your things signed by the players? If so is it everywhere and at every signing. Thats a rip.... but im sure it will be worth more than what their charging to get it signed.....but it still sux!!!

What, you think this stuff is supposed to be free? The sports memorabilia/autograph business is a massive industry, the only time you will ever go to a signing where it's free is if it's sponsored by the team or if it's some sort of event at PPS, such as one for season ticket holders. Most of the players that played in the 50's and 60's that didn't make much money and aren't as well know as the Hank Aaron's, Willie Mays', etc. are pretty much living directly off of the money they're making from autograph signings at shows and for companies like Steiner. Fact of the matter is that this is a huge business and people are willing to pay.

$25 is a very good price for Cabrera. Mike Lowell's signing was really expensive though, $39 for balls and flats and $49 for bats, gloves, etc. I was at an Andruw Jones signing about two or so years ago and it was only $35 for balls and flats.
