The thing is my one diagreement with the libertarian party made the site push me to dubya. And I think the question of oppose the positions of the alcu is a trick question. Because I technically support their alleged position, but i hate what theyve done with it and what they now stand for.

Seems to me that you lean more to the left than to the right. :whistle

Actually soriano, I'm not going to touch on abortion b/c IMO that is probably the trickiest issue. Its this simple (im not oversimplifying) Far right means you practice no SOCIAL control. Far left means you practice total SOCIAL control. For example francisco franco was a dictator and people in spain had no freedoms of speech etc., but he practiced no social control, a person can work wherever they please, invest as they please, and run their own businesses. In a far left govt, the govt owns all businesses, redistributes wealth. Now the problem is the spectrum then goes from authroitarian to libertarian. Franco is a right win authoritarian. Reagan implemented some more social control while still maintaining individual rights so he was a little more libertarian and (arguably) not as far right. Stalin was an authoritarian leftist, and clinton leans more to the libertarian side than stalin did and a little less to the left. Basically what this shows is that the U.S. political landscape is very centric. Lets apply this to modern issues...I am for less taxes, less restriction on business, and for freedom of religion, and of CHOICE. I am against all forms of social control and against govt intervention, i am right wing libertarian. A person who is against all forms of fiscal control by govt but against gay marriage is right wing but more authoritarian than i am...and so forth
