Question about last nights game

Since the phantom catch cost us at least one run, can the Marlins protest the game?

As was said in the Game Thread by FishyWishy... it happened in our favor earlier in the year when JP trapped a ball against the Phils that was clearly a trap and was ruled a catch.

You can only protest rule interpretations, not judgement calls, and that was a judgement call, so it can't be protested.....also, you have to protest a call right after it happens, not after the game.

for example if we were down by 1 run in the 9th I think it would be okay :thumbup
