It seems BBTN completely forgot about the Fish...

There was no Marlins highlight on BBTN tonight nor was Encarnacion's game winning 2-run blast on the Touch'em All segment. Did they completely forget about us?

UGH

Then you didn't watch the whole thing. They were showing the wild card standings and they showed the Marlins on there and they said "And look who is quietly making their way back into the Playoff race, the world champs, as well as those Huston Astros that you wrote of Dib..." and they went on to talk about the 'stros.

Us fans should email BBTN and complain! LOL

How about e-mailing Loria and complain he didn't shell out money to get Vlad, or keep Pudge? Or pull the trade with the Rockies and eat Walker's contract. When the Marlins give ESPN something to show they will. But 5 games out, 3 team behind the last spot for the playoffs is not something high on ESPN's list. You have the "surprise" Cardinals schooling the league. Ichiro going for the hits record. A very tight AL West race and even tighter AL Wildcard race. Infront of the Marlins you have the Giant and Bonds, the Cubs, and all those millions of Cubs fans and the Padres who was every analyists surprise team. Meanwhile the Marlins are tied with the Cast-off and written for dead Astros. So tell me again, why should ESPN care about what the marlins are doing?

Not what Marlins fan want to hear, but very true. Give them something to talk about, and they will. There's a lot going on in baseball right now to focus on a team 9.5 games out of their division and in 4th place in the Wild Card.... We feel the heat of the pennant race here, but an outsider doesn't see the Marlins as having a chance. And that's fine. We shocked the world last year. Let's do it again.

I use MLB.TV too, it's great when it's working you can't get any Marlin games on Saturday though and sometimes the streaming lags and sticks but for fifteen bucks a month it's a good bargain. It's an even bigger bargain if you can split the fifteen bucks with friends and then all of you just share the one screen name, it won't kick you off if you are signed on more than once.
