MarlinFan10
Ben Howard should have gotten the chance to start. :thumbdown
rferry
They're trying to convert Howard to a reliever. We're throwing Bump, Kensing and others out there because we have no starting depth and management is too afraid of injuries to pitch anyone on 3 days rest. QuickGold
Howard can't even be effective in relief and you want him to start?

TheMothman
Times like this i wish we had Brad back. I miss the guy. :confused
rferry
We would have been in the same position (although Penny is 100x better than Valdez. Now if we had Darren Oliver, we could have had atleast 3-4 innings of decent work before needing to go to the bullpen.

rferry
Get off it. Just because he was injured with the Dodgers doesn't mean he was going to get injured here. He wasn't overworked, he wasn't slipping with his mechanics. All he suffered here was heat stroke.

Yes, sopmeone does need to get off it. :whistle
