Posted September 26, 200420 yr Florida A&M 21, Tennessee State 15 Preview - Box Score - Recap September 25, 2004 ATLANTA (AP) -- Ben Dougherty connected with Roosevelt Kiser on fourth-quarter touchdown passes of 22 and 37 yards to give Florida A&M a 21-15 comeback victory over Tennessee State on Saturday. Playing on a neutral field in the Georgia Dome before a crowd of 67,712, the Rattlers (1-3) trailed 15-6 after Tennessee State (3-1) got a safety with 14:52 left in the game. Dougherty, who hit Maurice Demps on an 8-yard scoring pass in the second quarter, cut the lead to 15-13 on the first scoring pass to Kiser with 8:39 to play and then put the Rattlers ahead on the second with 2:12 remaining. Dougherty then ran for the 2-point conversion. The Tigers scored both of their touchdowns in the final 65 seconds of the first half, with Fred Burnette hauling in a 10-yard pass from Bryson Rosser with 1:05 left and Charles Anthony scoring from the 1 on the final play of the half. Anthony ran for 155 yards on 31 attempts. Dougherty completed 30 of 47 passes for 340 yards, 13 of those going to Kiser who had 181 yards. NO WAY! :o
