Collections of comics, usually. There's tradepaperbacks which are collected issues (like Ultimate X-Men tpb 1-5 or something) and then there's graphic novels. Graphic novels, more often than not are comics that are a hundred pages or long and tells one continuous story, where normal comics are thirty pages and are generally cliff-hangers. However, tpb's and Graphic novels mix and match a lot. But, graphic novels and tpb's are both collections of comics. Graphic novels are usually the adult oriented stuff that aren't about superheroes (but they can be) and a lot of them are black and white, also.

Just what I've read over the past year (not counting graphic novels), since if I posted every book I ever read, it would be ridiculously long.

The Time Machine

The Island of Dr. Moreau

Red Dragon

Green Mars

Moving Mars

Everything You Know Is Wrong

Snow Crash

Animal Farm

It's been a slow year for reading for me.

Now reading: The Invisible Man (Yes, I'm going through all of H.G. Wells most famous works - I got inspired after reading the two League of Extraordinary Gentlemen graphic novels).

1984

Their Eyes Were Watching God

Brave New World

Candide

The Bear and the Dragon

Timeline

Going After Cacciato

Heart of Darkness

A Confederacy of Dunces

The Great Gatsby

A Yellow Raft in Blue Water

Angela's Ashes

Jurassic Park

The Lost World

Airframe

The Outsiders

Tex

Icefire

yes, i want to read proust in french. and i also want to read rimbaud and voltaire and victor hugo and balzac. but mainly proust. i've never read him because i don't want to do it unless it is in french.

The pinnacle of literature.

I'm reading "Wild At Heart" by John Eldredge

I wouldn't even know where to start. My computer is in my study, bookshelves running along two walls, 6 shelves tall. I ran out of room and have to stack books on top of the rows. Some are simply reference books (field guides, published symposium proceedings, etc,) some for interest in my line of work (Ecosystems of Florida, Miami-Dade County Comprehensive Development Master Plan, The Alligator's Life History, etc,) and tons that I've read for enjoyment and saved (Coming Into Tthe Country, The Pine Barrens, Table of Contents, Labyrinths of Reason, Wanderer On My Native Shore, Foundation Trilogy, The Panda's Thumb, Light Years, Animal Farm, Born To Rock, and dozens upon dozens more.)

Of course my desk, filing cabinets, and some shelf space are also occupied with various scientific journals for differnt subjects I need to keep up on.

I've read way too many books than I could list here. I'll try and list as many as possible:

-Every book by Clive Cussler, except the non-fiction books

-All Tom Clancy novels except the ones that became movies, Red Rabbit, and The Bear and the Dragon. Working on Executive Orders, but it's a long read.

-Many Robert Ludlum books

-All of the Raymond Benson-authored James Bond novels

-All of the Star Wars novels, except the more recent ones

-About 3/4 of the Star Trek novels, including the entire New Frontier series.

-Several books written by Admin Bond.

-Many classic books, most for school, like Wuthering Heights (bad), Animal Farm, etc.
