Actually, you are both right. Some years after the International League, the Miami Marlins were a Class A team in the Florida State League for the Baltimore Orioles. That is why Miami Stadium served for years as the spring training home for the Orioles.

And they had an exhibition game at the OB which drew 50k.

 

On August 7, 1956, more than 50,000 baseball fans filled the OB to see Satchel Paige and the Miami Marlins defeat the Columbus Jets.
