5 teams?!

Jebus.

Top 25 players...not much of a stretch.

705526

Well not really. The 6th best center could be better than the 4th best gaurd, or something like that, if you understand how I am looking at it.

Or the 11th best gaurd could be better than the 4th best center.

Point taken...but I dont know who else should be on there other than that 25.

Just to clarify what I meant:

Deron Williams has no business being 2nd team, IMO at best, he should be in Dee's spot on 4th team.

Dee is better than 4th team, 2nd or 3rd.

Luther Head not being on any of the teams is a joke.

IMO: Dee 2nd or 3rd team, flip a coin, Luther 4th team, and Deron 5th team (maybe, if that...)

Oh, and J.J. Redick isn't even close to national POTY, that's a joke.

J.J. isn't even the best player on his own team. Vitale loves to hype him up and he is a great shooter but he is not anywhere close to the best player in the country.

And yeah I was wondering where Head was. He's the best player on that Illini team.

Pierre Pierce = unhonorable mention

That dude can ball it up, it's a shame he's a total waste of a human being in terms of his actions.

He'll fit in nicely in the NBA.

Sadly enough, very true.

Professional sports in general, really.

Why is it so hard to concieve that Redick could get this?

He leads the (or top 2, w/e) best conference in America in scoring.

Only players that score more in the country play at St. Peters, Vermont, Niagra, New Orleans, Quinnipac.

He has averaged the most points of anyone in the league since 1992. (Name all the great players from 1993-2004 and tell me that isnt impressive)

He receives more defensive attention than any player in the country.

He averages the most threes made per game in the nation.

He carries a top 5 team more than any other player in the top 5.

This doesnt mean I think he should get it...but if he does...he has the stats and intangibles to deserve it.

And Craig, be a man, and stop being a juvenille and answer this post.

Thanks.

I'd say Redick deserved it more if he was a good passer, defender, or rebounder. All he does is score and there's a lot more to the game than simply the ball. He's a great player but is he the best in America? No.

I would say Redick has become a good passer this year. Is he Paul or Felton? no. But he finds open teammates better than anyone on the team right now. You should know that after Melchionni got 12 points off of Redick's presence.

6'4" guards are not supposed to rebound. If that was the case forwards and centers would exclusively have this award.

he probably has you on ignore...

:rolleyes

706003

I know he does...but he wont refute any points...and just leaves them out here when I discuss with him...I know he reads what I say, just doesnt respond.

He's the "bigger man"

awesome to see Danny Granger on this list though

One of Vitale's buddies must have told him Granger is really awesome :lol

Yeah, I agree though, he's a baller.
