Magglio Homers

LAKELAND, Fla. -- Magglio Ordonez celebrated his Tigers debut by hitting a two-run homer Friday against the Yankees.

The two-run drive off Kevin Brown came in the second at-bat for Ordonez. He grounded out in the second inning, thanks to a diving stop by Yankees third baseman Damian Rolls, and lined out in his third at-bat. He came up in the fourth inning following a solo home run from Brandon Inge and a single from Ivan Rodriguez.

Ordonez fell behind on an 0-2 count, then drilled a Brown offering on a line onto the left-center field berm to tie the game at 3. It was his first home run since taking a Rich Harden pitch out last July 15....
