April 23, 200519 yr He's an overrated catcher. :plain :lol :lol :lol Maybe because we expect it from him? I know I do.
April 23, 200519 yr Because this is why he finishes with the averages he does, since he succumbs to fatigue the second half of the year.
April 23, 200519 yr Look at the way he is handling our pitching staff! LoDuca is under rated and I scoff at those who don't care for him as a player.
April 23, 200519 yr He's always been a great hitter in April/May it's the rest of the year I wanna see him hit like this.
April 23, 200519 yr The way Treanor is playing, which is a very pleasant surprise, I hope this gets enough confidence from Jack that he can rest LoDuca more through out the year so I he can be more fresh down the stretch.
April 23, 200519 yr Paulie is doing great. And thank God, because for the time being he is providing the spark that is missing from Lowell. OBTW, he now has the highest BA of all the regulars at .353 And Treanor is hitting .500. How is that as a turn-about from last year's catching duo?
April 23, 200519 yr I am also a bit surprised that not many are giving him the props he deserves. Very impressive so far.
April 23, 200519 yr LoDuca is the man! hes got the highest avg on team, he alwys comes though when needed, gotta be my favorite Marlin GO DUKEEEEE!!!
April 23, 200519 yr Compared to our option last year for starting catching, Lo Duca is the man. :mischief Lo Duca >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Castro
April 23, 200519 yr Compared to our option last year for starting catching, Lo Duca is the man. :mischief Lo Duca >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Castro 752274 Exactly. Who on here would rather we have the tandem of Castro and Redmond over Lo Duca?
April 23, 200519 yr Why aren't there any threads about Paul Lo Duca's start to the season? 752185 because this is expected of him.... especially in the 1st half

Who on here would rather we have the tandem of Castro and Redmond over Lo Duca? 752283 I don't know Beinfest, but this is a pretty big place and there are a few crazies among us :wacko
April 23, 200519 yr lo lo rules. 752300 in the first half :mischief that being said, Go Paulie, Go Marlins
April 23, 200519 yr He starts like this every year. *Waits for July Willy call-up* 752193 Don't hold your breath lol Willingham is barely hitting above the Mendoza line in Albuquerque. Lo Duca is being given every fourth/fifth day off by the manager. LoDuca's biggest worry isn't fautigue, it's being injured, but that's every catcher's worry.

Where have you been prin. And once Josh hits his stride, he will probably own one of the best averages in our system. What was Willingham's OPS last year? It was some ridiculous number. Come on Ramp, provide the info!
April 23, 200519 yr We should only wish our minor league system had a clone of Choi. Not every day you can get a guy that produces an out just 60% of the time and has 20+ HR power.
