May 6, 200520 yr Author Almost had a freudian slip when i made this post and said Pierre Pierce... LOL
May 6, 200520 yr Author I'm not a fan of refs deciding games but the refs DIDN'T decide the game. That had to be called.. when a player makes a bonehead move like that it has to be called. Then he topped it off by taking off his jersey and waving it in the air on his way off the court. What an idiot

Nice choke job by Kendrick Perkins though.
May 6, 200520 yr and if pierce doesn't swing his arm and make contact with tinsely, there would never be a chance to take a dive stupid play by pierce ... the guy has definitely been a disapointment in his career .. i had high hopes for the kid ... seems like he never recovered from the stabbing

Never recovered from the stabbing??? Are you serious? Don't define his career by this play. It was a STUPID play but he's still a 4 time all-star and averages 23 points a game on his career. I never really liked his game but he's still a very good ballplayer.
May 6, 200520 yr he has had many incidents where his head has just been out of the game .. where he has sulked, pouted and just acted like a harden than anyone jackass when he came into the league he was an all around threat, good build, good athlete, capable of doing anything on the court ... also had a good personality and was the type of guy who would be a top 10 player and a face of the franchise he is neither at this point, and hasn't been in quite some time ... there is a reason why bill simmons created "the paul pierce face" i'm not saying that he is a bad player ... i'm not saying that he isn't a very good player and a legitimate all-star what I'm saying is that he isn't a premier star in this game, a dynamic player that defines his team and generation he had/has the potential to be all that which is why he has been a disapointment

To say he wasted his potential is ridiculous and idiotic. Pierce is a stud and most non-Boston fans would agree and take him on their team in a heart beat.
May 6, 200520 yr i wouldn't ... and the C's are my second favorite team if anyone actually watched them on a regular basis you'd see what I'm talking about he never took the next step and his attitude is horrible
May 6, 200520 yr Author he never took the next step and his attitude is horrible 764911[/snapback] Congrats... you just summarized the entire NBA.
