Posted May 13, 200520 yr MLB suspended Marlins INF Wilson Delgado, Royals INF Luis Ugueto, Royals 1B Josh Pressley and Cardinals RHP Jeremy Cummings 15 games for violating baseball's minor league steroids policy. Delgado played well in limited action with the Mets last season, but he's hitting .244/.305/.387 for Triple-A Albuquerque. Regardless of the suspension, he's fallen behind Josh Wilson in line for a callup should the Marlins lose a middle infielder to the DL. May. 13 - 6:43 pm et --- RotoWorld.com
May 13, 200520 yr That Mets organization is so corrupt. First the heavy pot use and now steroids use too. The Royals are not doing much better out in the Midwest.

May 14, 200520 yr FYI-Ugeto started as a Marlin, they lost him to Seattle in Rule 5 draft back in 2001.
May 14, 200520 yr Well... that explains the promotion of Drew Niles to AAA. Hopefully Derek Wathan takes hold of the opportunity, and Wilson Delgado can get his act together.

May 14, 200520 yr idiot 772447 Yawn. Before you judge consider that he lives and trains in a country where steroids are legal, the supplement industry unregulated and many trainers are unscrupulous.
May 14, 200520 yr God knows if this was on some other team, you guys would be all over them...... :thumbdown

Before you judge consider that he lives and trains in a country where steroids are legal, the supplement industry unregulated and many trainers are unscrupulous. 772463 Yawn. Wilson Delgado is a f***ing idiot and it doesn't matter where he trains, he plays in America and he should know the rules. I actually had him as my starting SS in place of Seabass in MVP 2005, time to release his ass :lol .

Before you judge consider that he lives and trains in a country where steroids are legal, the supplement industry unregulated and many trainers are unscrupulous. 772463 Yawn. I don't need excuses. He tested positives for steroids. Steroids are illegal in baseball. Therefore he's an idiot. It doesn't mean I won't support him and it doesn't mean I don't like him. But he's still an idiot.
