PhishPhan
Aside from yesterday there is not a game that the bullpen has cost us a game that we should have had, at least not one that I can remember. Good to see the Spoon back, bye bye... someone soon.

Marlins2003
Let's hope it went well for him (physically). If it did let's hope he can pitch if not tomorrow night at least very soon. He won't be any use to the Fish until he starts pitching frequently, read 3 times a week with running out of gas re-injuring himself. It will probably be three weeks or so before we'll really know if he can contribute in 2005.

Beetle
Don't mean to rain on the parade, but Spooney didn't look as good as his stat line would suggest. He was helped in great part, by some over-eager Dunedin batters. Here's the way that inning went: - 1st batter: walked on 5 pitches; the strike was a "gift" by the ump. - 2nd batter: Struck out swinging at ball 4 - 3rd batter: Fly out to left after running the count 3-0 - 4th batter: Grounded to shortstop on the 1st pitch. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad he's finally back at work after so long; however, Spooney still needs a little more work before he can be called up. He's supposed to make another appearance in relief this week, according to tonight's program.

I'd say probably more like a month, but it sure is great to see him back on the mound again, and that's the most important thing.
Guest Fritz
Strike outs, walks, blah, blah, blah, all that really matters is if he looked hawt or not. :plain
Flamarlins3
Dude hasn't pitched in forever...little rusty and probably pretty hyped about being back. Give him a few weeks and all will be good

Marlins
It's very nice to see him pitching again. Even though it wasn't a perfect inning, it was good enough.

rferry
Can't wait until he gets back on the big club. This kid has shown a lot of promise - I hope it's still all there after the injury.
