TSwift25
VALDEZ GIVEN OK Right-hander Ismael Valdez, on the disabled list since April 14 with a hairline fracture to his right fibula, was cleared for conditioning and weight training after an X-ray on Monday. The break is continuing to heal normally, the Marlins said, and Valdez is expected to resume throwing in the next couple of days. The Herald Too bad he isn't ready for this Thursday. MarlinsFan253
Especially if AJ is going to be removed from the rotation for awhile.
FishFan24
As one might go out, another one might come back in. Hopefully the AJ situation isn't too serious and we get both of these guys back real soon.
PBMarlin
Any word on how many weeks of conditioning Valdez will require before he is ready to go?
WildMarlinMan2003
I can't see Valdez taking Moehler's spot back. Brian has pitched very well so far. When AJ comes back, my guess is that Valdez goes to the pen. I hope AJ is ok because Kensing is NOT the answer.
rferry
I hope Valdez gets plenty of rehab starts. Bring him up early only if there's an injury. He's lost his job in the rotation, and isn't good enough to out seat most of our relievers.
CapeFish
Let Valdez rehab all he wants. Come August we will be very thankful we have a fresh starter than can pitch an inning out of the bullpen 2 days later.
Miami 305
could be good for long relief/ spot starter
