Michael
He hit it on a 98-MPH Fastball off Billy Wagner in the 9th... Mike Lowell hit his third homerun in Philly ... on a 98-MPH Fastball by Billy Wagner in the 9th Just a little wierd IMO
Admin
Not that odd considering Wagner's fastballs are often 98mph and he uses that pitch the most.
MRMarlin93
I also noticed something. Easley Hit the ball $#%# Hard.

Marlins2003
It probably looked like a changeup after the preceding 101 mph fastball. :thumbup
Iowa
How bout the defensive play he made on LoDuca's throw? That was almost as big as his HR
Hollyberry
All I can say is...That was one shot by Easley; he really crushed that ball.

MarlinsContinueTo ShowDomi
Easley possibly had his best game as a Marlin in terms of impact, if you include the play on Paulie's throw and the clutch homer.

Crushed. 782876[/snapback] Yeah when I saw the replay it looked like one of those cartoons where the ball would start unraveling, it was hit so hard. Can't imagine what it must've looked like at the game.

When Easley hit the ball, less then a second it was in the stands... if you blinked you probably missed the whole play.. :lol
PBMarlin
Easley was sitting on the fastball. Any good MLB hitter should be able to handle a fastball down the middle of the plate.
Heckeroo
Not only that, but they're both right handed infielders whose second to last letter of their last name's is E. Absolutely unbelieveable.
Guest Moneyball
Wagner is only effective when his fastball is over 99 mph. :lol :plain
Marlins
I don't think it's that big of a deal since Wagner always throws hard and 98MPH is a speed that he reaches often. If it was Al Leiter, or a pitcher who doesn't throw all that hard then it would be a big deal, but it's not.
