Posted June 23, 200519 yr Giants are currently standing at 9,992 wins in franchise history, most of any sports franchise...just 8 more to get 1000 total wins for every franchise: Giants: 9992 Cubs: 9792 Dodgers: 9669 Cardinals: 9628 Braves: 9481 Reds: 9474 Pirates: 9454 Yankees: 9134 Phillies: 8630 Red Sox: 8304 Indians: 8246 Tigers: 8185 White Sox: 8160 Athletics: 7813 Twins: 7736 Orioles: 7710 Angels: 3454 Astros: 3439 Rangers: 3294 Mets: 3262 Royals: 2841 Nationals: 2797 Brewers: 2712 Padres: 2651 Blue Jays: 2214 Mariners: 2112 Marlins: 914 Rockies: 904 Diamondbacks: 611 Devil Rays: 476 BTW, the Phillies will reach 10,000 losses within the next few years
June 24, 200519 yr your sig is kind of wrong beacuse of the amount of games that other sports play. Football plays 1/10 of what baseball plays so it would be pretty unfair to put 10,000 in that perspective, but this is still an amazing feat.
June 24, 200519 yr congrats... but you still haven't won a World Series in 50 years. 823212 Pwned. :mischief
June 24, 200519 yr congrats... but you still haven't won a World Series in 50 years. 823212 Someone always has to turn around and point out something negative. This is a great feat regardless.

June 24, 200519 yr Wow, I never knew the Giants had the most wins than any other team, especially by 200. The top 2 teams in wins never win the WS, lol. I would have thought that the Yankees who have always been around and who have pretty much always had success, had the most wins. But I guess I was wrong. Again. Poor Devil Rays all the way on the bottom. I don't think they'll ever catch up. And it's amazing how many more wins the Diamondbacks have than them even though they've been around the same amount of time. It just goes to show you how bad the Devil Rays are, and have been. And the Marlins should get their 1,000th win next season! wohooo!!! Go Marlins!!! They have a lot of ground to pick up on the Mariners...they're far behind. And it's nice to see my second favorite team have the 3rd most wins...Go Dodgers!!! THINK BLUE!

I've been able to laugh at the Giants this year. How can I not? They're 10 games under .500. This is an amazing feat though.. The fact that they haven't won a World Series since they moved to San Francisco from New York is totaly irrelevant.
