I think it is definitely time he moved up the lineup for a few mights. His average is better than most guys batting before him and he has showed power in the past. Instant spark :thumbup

i wouldn't mind seeing louis lead off and agon hit 2nd.....let JP hit 8th

I doubt it will work but it could be worth a try. Gonsalez probably won't see better pitches because the scouting report says: he chases everything.

A few of us have been begging for this for a while now. But the bottom line is Mcelon has just a few moves when changing the lineup. Castillo/Pierra swapped, Castillo to # 6 and Delgado/Cabs swapped in the order.

Look, it's terrific to see him with a .280 average....

However during this 17-game hitting streak, 16 of them have been just 1-hit games. The only extra-base hits are 2 doubles and a homer.

It's not like he's tearing the cover off the ball.

No, he sucks in key situations. He isn't a good "hitter".

Keep him where he is.

Agree with that, Gonzalez has been ripping and so has Castillo. That would work.

Yesterday bases loaded, 1 out...pitcher on deck: he struck out. Not much of a situational hitter. 17 game hitting streak but he's only 1-4 in many of those games. He's fine where he is at #8.

Well to me hes better than Mike Lowell. I think he should be moved to 5th

I disagree completely. Lowell is coming out of his slump, and IMO he already is out of it. He has had more multihit games in June than Agonz has (4:1), and he has been a clutch hitter in the past more often than Agonz has. I feel like I see Agonz strike out, or pop up and throw his bat and helmet down in disgust a lot more often than I'm seeing Lowell screw up now.

My sig has said it all for a while. :thumbup

Your all a little late. :)

Gonzales for the three hole! :p

Jack is just being overly stubborn now. He tried making lineup changes to no avail earlier. Now he is just going to stick with this one until it starts working....if it ever does.

Pierre should be dropped to the bottom of the lineup. Let Luis lead off, LoDuca second and then Cabrera, Delgado, Gonzalez, Lowell, Pierre, Encarnacion. Jack should adjust the lineup to feature the hotter hitters.
