Posted June 29, 200519 yr All year the Twins have been shopping for a third baseman, they have a very deep rotation and bullpen. They also have a great minor league system there also. What about a move to send them Mikey for some help? Or a combination deal of Mikey and something else for that same help? Suggestions all? It was just a random thought, no real possbility I guess.
June 29, 200519 yr Aghh nothing like another thread about a MVP baseball 2005 trade that the computer accepts that would be great idea for real life.

June 29, 200519 yr Author I didnt even suggest the players possible for such a trade. Just that they are in need of a 3B. Lowells history shows him as a quality player and a good defensive player. He should come around and perhaps a move to the AL would help that (better hitters league). That is why I was merely suggesting the possibility for a middle relief and a prospect perhaps. I wasnt suggesting santana or anything here like one would in MVP. Also the reason I suggested the trade possible is because ESPN radio this morning on 1400 was talking of the idea of Minn looking for a good 3B in a trade before the break perhaps.

Then they could edit all of Juan Enc's stats and Perisho's to 99 and trade them for Mark Mulder and Jim Edmonds.

June 29, 200519 yr It is rather surprising how many teams need thirdbasemen, a position generally considered a position of stability.
