Posted July 1, 200519 yr I think Lowell's glove is too sharp to sit down for Damion. I suggest moving Lowell down in the lineup until he finds his swing. Just move everybody up a notch and drop him to 8th. Don't bench him. PS- The "baseball" fans that call the radio shows here in Miami are pretty sad. One lady called Boog's show yesterday and said the Marlins problems are linked to Delgado.
July 1, 200519 yr It's amazing what they're doing. They're not a bad team on paper, but they're playing way over their heads. They're now 17 games over .500 yet have allowed more runs than they've scored. insane. /off-topic
July 1, 200519 yr They'll slow down they will eventually find out that all there games were cags get depressed and drop to last place. :thumbup

July 1, 200519 yr Sounds a lot like what others were saying of the Marlins in 2003. This is baseball - anything can happen. :thumbup
July 1, 200519 yr Back to the topic of this post: Drop him to 9th! LOL 835324[/snapback] That might actually be a good idea when Dontrelle is pitching! LOL!
July 2, 200519 yr Agreed. Lowell needs to be dropped in the order and put someone behind Delgado who offers better protection. Castillo Pierre Cabrera Delgado LoDuca Encarnacion Lowell Gonzalez Pitcher

July 2, 200519 yr I think we should also drop down Lowell to the 7th spot though, i dont think Gonzalez can hit in the 7th spot. That would be a good lineup and would hurt us as much since Lowell always comes up with RISP when batting 5th and never does anything!

He can hit there and several other places in the lineup right now. The one good thing about Alex hitting 8th is he has the ability to put solid swings on pitcher's pitches.
