I think Lowell's glove is too sharp to sit down for Damion. I suggest moving Lowell down in the lineup until he finds his swing. Just move everybody up a notch and drop him to 8th. Don't bench him.

PS- The "baseball" fans that call the radio shows here in Miami are pretty sad. One lady called Boog's show yesterday and said the Marlins problems are linked to Delgado.

This bench is going to waste. Lowell needs to sit down for a couple of games.

Off topic- The stinkin' Nats-pos win another one run game in Chicago today.

It's amazing what they're doing. They're not a bad team on paper, but they're playing way over their heads.

They're now 17 games over .500 yet have allowed more runs than they've scored.

insane.

I'm not so sure about that, I think they are for real. Hope you are right

Sounds a lot like what others were saying of the Marlins in 2003.

This is baseball - anything can happen. :thumbup

That might actually be a good idea when Dontrelle is pitching! LOL!

Agreed. Lowell needs to be dropped in the order and put someone behind Delgado who offers better protection.

I like it, but Peirre will hit in a lot of DPs

I think we should also drop down Lowell to the 7th spot though, i dont think Gonzalez can hit in the 7th spot. That would be a good lineup and would hurt us as much since Lowell always comes up with RISP when batting 5th and never does anything!

Lowell and Pierre both need to be benched.

Conine and Easley would help us more.

If you recall last year Alex actually starting hitting better when moved to the 7th spot. He can hit there and several other places in the lineup right now. The one good thing about Alex hitting 8th is he has the ability to put solid swings on pitcher's pitches.

yeah i remember now, you brought back good memories lol

but 8th hitter needs to be a good hitter swinging at bad pitches just like Tommy Hutton says and its true, that'll be hurting Lowell more than helping him so stick lowell in the 7th and alex in 8th.
