It was Livan though. Look at the comparisons... Livan ('97) 96.1IP 81 H 72/38 K/BB 34ER 9-3 3.18ERA D 97.1IP 85 H 93/32 K/BB 27ER 10-2 2.50ERA Coincedence? Their numbers are fairly similar, obvious differences aside (righty/lefty). It is interesting to see how winning teams get contributions from everyone...
August 3, 200321 yr The higher K totals for D-Train indicate more long term success to come. Next season will be the best indicator because most teams will have a nice book on him....the right adjustments will be key.
