Libelula
So I was at work watching the smaller kids (Grades K-3rd) when some little 2nd grader walked up to me with a problem... A TANGLED SLINKY I said to her, "You gotta be kidding. Just because I'm a grown-up doesn't mean I can do the impossible." She looked at me like "I really don't care, just fix it" and handed it to me. I really didn't know what to do, but I didn't wanna see this girl lose her Slinky. And she was playing with it ALL DAY. So I see it's tangled in 3 places and I fix the first 2. She said "You almost got it!" At that point, I was determined. I would not lose this Slinky. After breaking a bunch of Slinky's as a child, I always wanted to know if they can be fixed. CAN THEY? I continued playing around with it and found out that if you just keep turning the tangled part towards the end, it untangles EASY! So I did that and in a mere 20 minutes... UNTANGLED SLINKY. I was like "OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!" Before even giving it to her I was told her "DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO UNTANGLE A SLINKY?!" She said yes, thanked me, and continued to play with her Slinky. I then bragged the rest of the day about how I untangled a Slinky. NOTE: If you have untangled a Slinky before, please share your likely beautiful story. OldSand
I've untangled them before, but I always stretched them and they would never be the same after that.

MarlinsFan253
I hate those things. They never go down the stairs like they did in the commercials... but part of that is because you have to have the right size stairs. If they are two wide or two thin from front to back, it just won't work after five or six stairs.

Just peel off the colored stickers and put them back on in the finished order.

There is a technique you can use and once you learn it, its pretty simple. People can solve the thing in like minutes or even seconds. Someone once taught me but I forgot. Im sure its on the internet.

Thats some serious skill right there. The techniques dont teach you how to be quick about it though. It usually took me a very very very long time but I could do it.
