UMFan4Life7
Didn't Bobby Bonilla hit one over the Tiger Stadium roof back in 1997? 852120[/snapback] Probobly, but he was a Marlin. We all know Marlin players and the Marlins in general don't get media coverage. Hell, on BBTN they called us the friggin Mariners!
The_Godfather
I remember seeing that shot live, and it was the most amazing Home Run I have ever seen to this day. Anyone have video of it ? How bout some trivia (for those who didn't see it tonight on SC ) who was the pitcher he hit it off of ?

MarlinsFan253
I was there for #6. I think it happened in '88 or '89? I can't remember. I was young. It was against the A's.
TimeWrecker
i was at the game! we just thought that we got absolutly owned... we knew it was far, but not #3 longest tapemeasure...
The Folklegend
Is this from the ESPN era? Because this list is a joke if it's supposed to be All Time. It doesn't have any of Reggie Jackson's moonshots or Mickey Mantle's which supposedly was the longest homer ever hit. Schmidt and Kingman would have to be on there, too. Guest Fritz
I was wondering why the Reggie Jackson HR that supposedly went upwards of 550 feet would be placed. It didn't make the list so I'm assuming it's just of the ESPN era.
Accord
They were pimping Reggie's shot during the whole HR Derby constantly showing replays of it.
Iowa
Reggie will just tell you how great his homerun was... no need for Sportscenter to say it.
Guest Moneyball
Can't be ESPN era. Jimmy Wynn's homer was in 67 at Crosley Field.
The Folklegend
Then their list is a joke. If they don't have footage of the older homers that's fine, but don't call the list All Time best when it's missing half the longest homers ever. I really hate how idiotic ESPN has become. Stuart Scott Syndrome has taken over.
