UPN asks WWE to pull Hassan

The controversy surrounding last week's airing of an angle involving Muhammed Hassan and the Undertaker has apparently prompted a reaction from UPN. The talk backstage at the Smackdown tapings is that UPN has informed WWE that they would prefer that Hassan not be included on this week's program.

There's no word at this point whether Hassan has been pulled from the show, or how WWE intends to deal with the controversy. As reported earlier, WWE.com has posted updates on the controversy and the company seems to be embracing the bad publicity as if it's a good thing.
