rorod
willis gave up game winning home run dookie didnt do anything at the plate. cabsgrounded the ball to infielders 2x w/ runners in scoring position. luis didnt do anything at the plate but he did have some nice plays. Should the marlins even care about not having homefield advantage in the WS because they look like they arent going to make it there

JonDigital
so basically minus d-train they were just displaying what they are good at so far this season. web gem of the night surely was luis' stab at second. only bright spot
FreshFish
Dude, Dtrain didn't cost the NL this game. They were 7 runs in the board. Run 1-5 costs as much as runs 6 and 7 With that said, I'm really concerned about Dontrelle 2nd half.
Iowa
I thought Livan gave up the game winning 2 run single.. maybe its just me. Dork
Marlins2003
I'm more interested in what's going on today at the Marlins "voluntary" workout.

SilverBullet
well D-Train gave up runs 6 and 7 in a game where the NL scored 5 runs...so doesnt that mean that its D-Train's fault that the NL didnt at least get to a tie game? Nonetheless, thats just a minor point, the bottom line is, yes D-Train gave up a big home run...but it was in the All-Star game against a Ranger...theres no shame or need for worry there...we dont play the Rangers again and we're taking on the NL not the AL...he'll be fine
MarlinsFan253
It wasn't D-Train's fault. It was LaRussa's fault. Now where is FlummoxedLummox with one of his three responses to LaRussa comments? :arms
Skully
The D-Train will be fine. I find it funny how someone can see a less than perfect inning in an All Star game, despite having one of the best 1st halves in team history, and be concerned. As for Luis, he had a good game. He made a great play and went 1-3. Not a bad day at all.
FishFan24
Didn't Smoltz and Livan give up the other runs? One could make the arguement that if Smoltz didn't give up the homerun and if Livan had gotten out of the inning then the homerun given up by D-train wouldn't have been so bad. Besides, I'm more concerned about getting back to baseball that matters and that is Marlins baseball. :thumbup
rferry
Yo, don't forget the defense. Some good, some terrible plays by Marlins.
