MVPosey
The US will get creamed in the WBC and here's why: Gary Sheffield will be the only one to be straight up about it, but a lot of other American players will choose not to play for the same reason...meanwhile, all the Latin stars will play...they have a lot more pride for their respective countries than the Americans you saw how during the home run derby, all the latin players had the other players from their country cheering them, while Mark Teixiera had nobody with the American flag supporting him? That's because the American players don't have the pride for their country like the Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Venezuelans, etc....the stars from those countries have godlike status...you can bet your ass that anyone given an invitation to represent one of those countries will accept... there's no doubt that if you were to put the best American players on the team they would roll through it easily...but we won't be seeing the best American players

FIUMarlinfan
A very good DR team lost to the Mexicans in the Serie del Caribe this past year, just putting that out there.
