Admin
Your on a roll tonight closing down threads lol. But thats not what I was wanting, what are your opinions of Craig Biggio and Bagwell's hall of fame possibilities.
Das Texan
First off.... what is the point of the first part of this thread. Second, Biggio is in. Bagwell is in middle ground, probably on the outside though.
Admin
I think Biggio is in too...and the first part was laughing about you closin down thread after thread lately.
Guest markotsay7
I can't wait to see people who think that Palmeiro is a no doubter (pre-roid test) say that Bagwell isn't a sure thing. I go against Das...Bags is a certainty and Biggio is a possibility, not a first ballot.
QuickGold
I don't see either of them in the hall. Bagwell had a chance but hasn't produced like he used to when he was younger. Biggio is a good player and all but he's never been a "dominant" player.

FIUMarlinfan
Biggio was a dominant player is his position though. Sandberg doesnt necessarily have HOF numbers, but they sure were for a 2b.
Beinfest4Prez
Biggio no question about it. Hasn't he won a gold glove at every position he's played? Bagwell would get in if he could get to 500 homers and that is iffy as of this moment as to whether he will ever play again.
Mets_bs
He's never won a GG in the outfield. Biggio is borderline, he was a good player but not the best 2nd baseman of his era. If he gets 3000 hits I'd say yes. I used to think bagwell would be a no doubter, but the injuries and age have slowed him down too much. I'd say no. MarlinsContinueTo ShowDomi
Biggio is a possiblity, but with 3000 hits he'd get in eventually. I personally like Bagwell as a player, but he would need some more productive seasons to add to his stats, but that doesn't seem likely with all those injuries. Das Texan
of the players ahead of biggio on the doubles list all are in or will be in. of the immediate players behind him, all are in or will be in. biggio was also one of the elite second basemen in the national league for the 90s, playing in a horrendous park for hitters. biggio plays his entire career in minute maid he is already past 3000
FreshFish
Biggio Yes - he will get 3K hits Bagwell, not at this point
Beastie
IF Biggio would retire now he would be in the Hall because he's a second baseman. Bagwell would need to play really good baseball for the next 2-3 years to get in. I dont see it.
