Rafael Furcal just pulled off an unassisted triple play in the bottom of the 5th inning.

Cards had men on 1st and 2nd with no out, Woody Williams up. Runners are running when Williams lines to Furcal, who caught the ball, touched second base, and then tagged the runner trying to go back to first.

Simply unreal. :w00t

Yeah I saw that too. You don't see one of those every day.

WOW!

I did that once when I was 6 and was playin teeball for YMCA (in between Little League season and football season). I was shortstop, bases were loaded 0 out (not a pressure situation in Teeball though!). Someone hit a soft liner to me. I caught it, ran over to 2nd and touched the base. As I was touching the base, the guy from 1st came sliding into 2nd (lol, he didnt understand the rules of a pop fly), so I just tagged him out, and that was that. WHOS THE MAN!?!?! hehe

i have seen that before!!

i was involved in an assisted triple play, SS to me playing 2nd to first, it was sweet, involves a lot of luck though

when I was in little league my team made a triple play. There were runners on 1st and 2nd and the guy hit it to 3rd base and the 3rd basemen stepped on 3rd and through to 1st for 2 outs and then the guy on 2nd got greedy and tried to go for 3rd and the 1st baseman through it back to 3rd for the triple play.
