Posted October 13, 200519 yr The New Orleans Saints, forced out of the Superdome by Hurricane Katrina, will play in front of their first ??home'' sellout of the season Sunday against Atlanta. The team announced a sellout Thursday of the second of three games in the 65,000-seat Alamodome. The Saints will play their next four home games at LSU in Baton Rouge, La., before returning to the Alamodome for their final home game on Christmas Eve. The sellout came despite uncertainty over the playing status of Falcons star quarterback Michael Vick, who is nursing a knee injury. The Saints played in front of almost 59,000 in their first Alamodome game against Buffalo two weeks ago. That is great to see that the city of San Antinio is supporting that squad....GO SAINTS!!

October 14, 200519 yr Tagliabue already pwned them by saying the NFL has no interest in moving to a small market. Not gonna happen.
October 14, 200519 yr Just move them there now. They'll go to LA or Mexico City instead. the owner should have some say, and usually does. Tagliabue already pwned them by saying the NFL has no interest in moving to a small market. Not gonna happen. true, but also know this...no owner has never not gotten his way and in the end....the final say comes down to the owners, Tags can say whatever he wants and put all the pressure in the world on the other owners, but this fact does remain, the owners will have final vote. Granted it could be bloody and it could be the first time one of the owners dont get their way...but we will deal with that later. ps. I dont want the Saints.
