I hate when people who know little to nothing about our situation criticize. The opening paragraph is ri-God-damn-diculous.

Looking for a bargain? Check out the Marlins

By Jeff Gordon

ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

11/28/2005

Upon further review, the Florida Marlins shouldn't wait until 2008 to move to a new market. They ought to just fold up right now and cease to be.

The Marlins kicked off Hot Stove League action by putting virtually their entire team up for bidding. Their first step was sending pitcher Josh Beckett and third baseman Mike Lowell to the Boston Red Sox.

Then, like a merchant holding a Christmas sale, the Marlins threw hard-throwing reliever Guillermo Mota into the trade for an additional prospect. Buy two, get one free!

In a separate deal, the Marlins got three prospects from the Mets for slugger Carlos Delgado and a check for $7 million.

Talk about nice rebates - the Mets didn't even have to mail in the receipt to get the check.

Everything must go in Florida. If your kids always wanted a game-used Luis Castillo for Christmas, you need to get in on the bidding ASAP.

The "man who has everything" doesn't have Juan Pierre in his den, so you should immediately call the Marlins.

"For now," Marlins president David Samson warned the world, "we must focus on the names on the front of the jersey, not the names on the back of the jersey."

they're just pissy in St. Louis because the Cardinals are on track to being the Buffalo Bills of this decade.

The Buffalo Bills frown upon that statement, as they have at least come close to winning a championship (Super Bowl XXV) and did appear in four, whereas the Cards only have one. The Bills suggest the Cardinals be compared to the Philadelphia Eagles (3 NFC championship game losses, one Super Bowl appearance) instead.

/end irrelevant tangent

Dude, your signature is funny as hell. Frickin' Jake the Snake sporting the Ron Jeremy stash is good stuff.
