Junior
Texas gets Brad Wilkerson, Terrmel Sledge, PTBNL.
FutureGM
Dumb for Texas, they needed pitching.
Hugg
And the Nationals are moving him to LF. Which means they either haven't talked to him or he's lightened his stance on moving positions big time.

ultimopain
What the crap. This makes no sense for the Nationals. I think they gave up two really good players for one good player. Soriano isn't that great.

Dodge
I think Wilkerson was a helluva fit there. Hopefully Soriano works out.

Soriano isn't that great.  Wait so Wilkerson and Sledge are both better then Soriano? Soriano is probably better than both of them as individual players. But collectively, the Nationals gave up too much as they both could've contributed a lot. Wilkerson especially is underrated. And by moving him to LF, I think that might hurt Soriano's value. I guess time will tell.
Passion
I think the Rangers will make another move after and because of this one. This is dumb for the Nats imo. Soriano at 2nd when they have Vidro. Soriano in left is a downgrade from Wilkerson. Plus, Soriano is expensive. Iowa
I forsee the Cubs and Rangers making a deal with Wilkerson or Mench and Walker involved.
Lefty
Soriano strikes out too much. I like Wilkerson a lot for his arm and offense. Sledge I'm not so familiar with, but when I saw him play the Fish, he looked alright. PTBNL might be a nice prospect for the RAngers. wanks1212
Good luck away from Texas, Soriano Pretty good deal for the Rangers, especially if they can spin off some parts for pitching Jim Bowden strikes again!
prinmemito
Some of you forget that Soriano hit 38 homeruns in 2003 for the Yankees. The kid's got some pop.
TSwift25
Vidro's probably on the move somewhere. Soriano in the outfield is just a waste.
Guest Fritz
Vidro's probably on the move somewhere. Soriano in the outfield is just a waste. Why? He's a terrible 2nd baseman.
TSwift25
Vidro's probably on the move somewhere. Soriano in the outfield is just a waste. Why? He's a terrible 2nd baseman. Because he isn't good enough to be a $10 million a year outfielder. If the guy can play a position where offense is at a premium, while giving you "good enough" defense (he had a FP of .972...not great, but not horrible, AGon's was .974, BTW), you have to do it. Hugg
The Nationals website says they got him to play LF. Vidro isn't going anywhere.

Guest Moneyball
Soriano better hope they bring in the fences. Bowden gets hosed by a Rookie GM.
QuickGold
I don't see how either team benefits. Nats needed a leadoff guy but Soriano has said he won't move. Playing him in left sounds dumber than when Yanks tried Tony Womack in left last season.
