Well the Panthers beat the Bruins 4-3 in a shootout (1-0). Tampa lost earlier to Carolina 2-1.

So everyone 6-12 has played at least 71 games except the Islanders who have a game on hand to the others.

Standings:

6. Tampa (GP: 72) (Points:81)

7. NJ (GP:71) (Points: 79)

8. Mon (GP: 71) (Points: 79)

------------------------------------------

9. Atl (GP:71) (Points: 76)

10. Fla (GP:71) (Points: 73)

11. Tor (GP:71) (Points: 72)

12. NYI (GP:70) (Points: 71)

Remaining schedule against playoff teams (in the last spot race)

Tampa: 3

Atlanta: 2

Toronto: 1

Next game: @Pitt

Just take care of business against a bottom feeder, no let downs.

Definatly possible to top Atlanta, and Toronto really isn't a concern for me. I think the Panthers can finish in front of the Lighting when all is said and done.

I love your enthusiasm Chewy. Glad to have you on board as a new Panthers fan. :cool

I've been to a couple days in the upper deck in the past and it's been pretty bland. Then this year, I went to a game in the lower bowl and the game was fast and intense, and people actually scored unlike the past. And I think "this is pretty sweet, and the stadium is only 20 minutes away". So yeah, Panther games are awesome, especially when viewed from the lower bowl.

It's too bad I'm a senior this year, because I would definatly gotten some sorta season ticket plan for next year if I wasn't leaving.
