Heywood Jablowme
i miss len kasper.... I miss Angel & O'Brien on the radio....when they were still friends, in the early years, that was the best, wittiest and warm baseball calls I ever heard. They seemed to genuinely like each other. Too bad how that ended with O'Brien stabbing Angel in the back. Shameful :mad
Boog Sciambi
I like Rich now, but his home run calls are f***ing terrible. Not worse than Dave Van Boring. theres a long fly ball. way back. its into the stands for a homerun. steve jacobs with a home run. i mean mark jacobs. i mean mike jacobs. did i mention he was hitting one hundred and ninety five? Guest Juanky
he didnt, that was the point of me calling him out on it. Uh, Brian Giles DID come up through the Pittsburgh system. He was traded for Oliver Perez and Jason Bay, which was a bad trade for the Padres. Thanks for correcting me, lolHe didn't correct you.....Giles was an Indian farmhand, was on their bench in Game 7 of the 97 World Series. That was one stacked team we toppled. CapeFish
"Mike Jacobs has a hold of one...deep to right field...and it is up, up, and away! A blast by Mike Jacobs and the Marlins lead!" -DVH That is a classic baseball call. So shut up all you haters because the Marlins have had nothing but excellent radio guys since the start. To think DVH's call caused an uproar in Canada in the 60's similar to the one Janet Jackson got for her Super Bowl Wardrobe Malfunction. Guest Juanky
Classic? Big deal. If it caused a riot in the 60s more power to him. He must have left his energy in the 60s too.

Guest Festa
Jay Randolph was known for putting people to sleep. Waltz is ok. Hutton is fantastic. DVH is meh. Roxy is brilliant. Felo is a god. Yicky is brilliant aswell. ?FLASH! ?Lo retrato! Kasper is my all-time favorite when it comes to Marlins PBP. The Cub fans are exactly thrilled with him.... :shifty Classic? Big deal. Scully brilliantly puts together words and make his calls fluidly. Something Waltz lacks btw.
Hotcorner
I think Roxy's terrific too Felo. They should think about pairing him up with THutt on television. Rich Waltz just doesn't seem like a major league play-by-play guy to me.... like he should be doing college games or something.
