jackarmstrong
i didn't get to see the game, how did he look today? decent line (6IP, 2ER), and obviously a lot better than his previous start, but the 5 walks worry me... his stuff isn't so overpowering that he will pitch well when his control is off. thoughts from people who saw him in action today? Did pretty good. A lot better than his last start, thats for sure. And thank god Joe and staff knew when it was time to get on the phone and turn it over to the pen. Good game by the bullpen. Guest Festa
His control was meh today but improved from his first start. He is still having trouble throwing the breaking ball for strikes. He had a few good innings and a few shaky innings. It's good to see he's throwing the breaking ball more consistently. Last season he wouldn't throw it more than 5-6 times in a game. CYmarlins
he bounced back well after the 2nd inning and kept us in the game and didnt allow them to score again. like noted before we took him out when needed and the bullpen finished up the job just fine.
