Posted April 25, 200619 yr DENVER (AP) -- Rockies first baseman Todd Helton was released from the hospital Monday after spending the weekend being treated for a stomach ailment. The team said the five-time All Star was at home "resting comfortably with his family." Helton, 32, was hospitalized Friday with severe lower abdominal pain and a fever. Details of his condition have not been released and there is no timetable for his return to the lineup. Helton was placed on the disabled list retroactive to April 20 and will not be eligible to return to the active roster until May 5. He is hitting .347 with a homer and nine RBIs. He went on the DL last year for the first time in his career with a strained calf.
