We got our butts whipped last night. Embarrassing. Reality returns today and I think we are up for it. This team has back-bone and guts. We really miss Lowell but, at least, McKeon agreed with most of us and switched Conine and Lee in the line-up. Better late than never. And McKeon is not going to switch Urbina and Looper. That's his style, don't undermine confidence, stay with the guy who brought you to the dance. This is going to be wild. GO MARLINS.

I hope we win today. we need 2 out of 3 in order to keep some distance from philly. If we get sweep, kiss the WC goodbye. There is no tomorrow, this team must step up and WIN now.

The Atlanta series is a tough 4 game one, that series can be good or really ugly.

I disagree. This series only offered one thing, a chance for the Fish to pretty much end the race. Even if they get swept, they are only 1.5 out with three remaining against the Phils along with a series with the powderpuff Mutts.

As for the Atlanta matchup, if I'm not mistaken the Phils play three against the Bravos as well, and I'll take FLa's record against the NL East agianst any other team, including the Phillies.

All in all, this series is much ado about nothing now that the Marlins aren't going to sweep.

I'm mostly concerned with the Marlins at least winning one game. Losing 2 of 3 on the road isn't a disaster, it's pretty much par for this team. They're not a good road team and have never been. If they can win at least a game & split with the Braves, I think we'll probably wind up tied with Philly going into our home series with them. Marlins are a good home team, & after that we get the Mets while they have to play Atlanta. Bottom line is they need this game tonight.

We did get a beating yesterday but today is a whole new day. We got Redman pitching tonight and if he can get that Change up low we will be fine. That pitch is real hard to pick up since it looks like a fastball. Redman has to be at top in his game. This is a very important one and we have the right guy on the mound and also tommorow. :p
