"It stinks," manager Joe Girardi said. "We're a better team than what we've played. We should have won more games. Guys have to do some soul searching. How often am I going to make the same mistakes?"

:thumbup

Strangely enough (and Ive been a huge Joe G defender) I couldnt help but notice that none of the haters mentioned Joe G's biggest managerial blunder to date: In a scoreless game with and a runner on 3B and the PITCHER on deck and 2 out, JJ incredibly threw a hittable pitch to the #8 hitter who subsequently knocked in the run. :bangdesk

Now I didnt read any of the game thread and maybe it was mentioned there but its funny how managerial blunders are ONLY discussed following losses.

He meant the players have to say to themselves "How often am I going to make the same mistakes?".
