Junior
Wow the Cubs have Ronny Cedeno batting 3rd, that offense really is awful. Might not be loaded with power, having only 1 HR, but he is batting .283 with 8 2B and 3 3B. As a short term fill in it isnt that bad. Actually he is batting second, so you are right it's not that bad.
CardsJimEdmonds15
You think Cedeno batting 2nd or 3rd is bad? Now look.. Blanco is the clean up hitter.. ROFL.. or not.. Perez is.. like that's any better..

CardsJimEdmonds15
Cubs, White Sox melee leads to four ejections CHICAGO (AP) -- A.J. Pierzynski barreled over Cubs catcher Michael Barrett, who got up, grabbed the White Sox catcher and punched him, starting a bench-clearing melee in the second inning that led to four ejections Saturday. Pierzynski slapped the plate after the collision as the ball got away from Barrett. Then the Cubs catcher got up and grabbed Pierzynski before throwing the punch. The White Sox's Scott Podsednik, who had been in the on-deck circle, then wrestled Barrett to the ground. White Sox center fielder Brian Anderson, who hit the bases loaded sacrifice fly to score Pierzynski, then got into a fight with Cubs first baseman John Mabry. As Pierzynski went back to the dugout, he raised his hands in the air as a soldout crowd at U.S. Cellular Field roared and then began slapping hands with his teammates. Pierzynski, Barrett, Anderson and Mabry were all ejected. http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news?slug=ap-c...ov=ap&type=lgns

SonataArctica121
In the second inning of the cubs / sox game, rich hill loaded the bases on walks (sound familiar?) when there was one out. At 3rd was AJ. CF Anderson hit a sac fly and as AJ came down the line, he pushes down Barret and thn slaps the plate expecting a crowd reaction and the game became 1-0. Barret gets up, holds down AJ and punches him and some of the benchs unloaded. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctsYoWLgtuY

Randolph deserves to get yelled at and bashed by the fans!

If you heard rumors that your across the town team was making fun of your team for it's recent struggles, their big mouth catcher runs you over, and to top it off slaps the plate, not to mention your already ticked off on how your team is performing, wouldn't you punch AJ to vent some anger? Big woop he slapped the plate. It's not anyone else's fault that the Cubs suck it's only their own. Thats not the point, Barret is huge on the cubs and especially their fans. He is so angry by the fact that they have been constantly humiliated by teams like the brewers and padres @ home. Even though slapping the plate and knocking over a catcher in your mind might seem like nothing, it becomes a much diffrent thing in the mind of someone THAT pissed off. Have you never exploded on someone over something small?
