yenta
I'm thinking of donating my car- getting the full IRS write off and buying a Toyota Yaris. It's gotta good gas mileage. I get 14-18 mpg from my Montero. And that's when I baby it. I can get better mileage from a Winnebago.

catchoftheday
I saw one of those original Hummers with a "for sale" sign the other day ... it made me wonder why they were doing such a thing

Those things use a ton of fuel. $100 a week? Assuming gas is $3 per gallon, that means 33 more gallons used by an SUV than a car. I just don't see that happening. Even still, would you rather spend $100 extra a week on gas or $500+ extra per month on a new car combined with gas you'd still wind up having to buy? Dodge
Especially considering that gas will be phased out by the time you end up turning a profit.
