poor Zambrano

Recommended Posts

zambrano, the only one with any desire to wi on that team, it's a 2 run shot to break the shut out. The team gets a lead. zambrano in line for a win after 8 innings, cubs lead 5-4. Ryan dumpster comes in. Guess what

BAM

8-5

I think Zambrano should go over to ryan and kick his ass, then go over to dusty and kick his @$$ for not bothering to try to pretend he is a decent manager

JP is just one member of a struggling offense, Z can't beat the entire team. You would just think that once the Cubs find a way to get ahead late in teh game, the pen would have the decency to try not to blow it.

we really got away with murder in that JP trade.

ya... i wouldn't mind reaquiring him though..

why? he's only slightly better than what we already have.

look at the numbers, as sad as it is to say, JP is only doing slightly better than our CF options. and his arm just screams take an extra base to everyone.

i just have that gut feeling that he'll eventually return to his old form. and i'm a big fan of his work ethic and he's a great guy. i'll also never forget how much he contributed in the world series year.

I like JP, but honestly, there's no reason to bring him back for sentimental reasons. I don't see what he would really do for us.

his work ethic could be more inspirational to the team, the only problem is he is meant for leading off, we got that covered with Hanley and god forbid if you take Uggla outof his #2 hole
