lackey is really having a great season.

 

 

he has slowly put it together more and more every year.

 

 

one of my favorite players in all of baseball.

 

 

 

he had that amazing season right out of the box in which he helped win the world series back in 2002, then he dropped off a bit in 2003 and 2004, though still by AL standards, he didnt really have that horrible of years.

 

2005 he started to turn the corner though from a middle of the rotation guy to a front of the rotation guy and this year he has continued to take that further.

 

oh ya..

 

he has a 26.2 inning scoreless streak.

 

and has struck out 10 in each of his last 3 starts.

 

among other things.
