If I could make it to a festival in the midwest I'd be going to the 10,000 Lakes Festival in Minnesota. This one isn't half bad, though. I wouldn't mind seeing RHCP, My Morning Jacket, Wilco, Blues Traveler, and Broken Social Scene.

That's a mad good lineup. Your list isn't even close to complete, though it does have MOST of the best groups.

I don't really like the way they did the schedule, though.

yeah I just listed some of the more popular groups...

what's wrong with the schedule, just too spread out?

these are the only bands i would see off that list. and the RHCP just for nostalgia sake.

Red Hot Chili Peppers

The Raconteurs

My Morning Jacket

Death Cab For Cutie (saw them at hard rock in orl with sh*tty sound, typical of HRL, and still loved it)

The Shins

Wilco

Iron & Wine

Broken Social Scene (mix of metric, stars, feist and 2 other guys in their line-up)

---------------

should also be there:

Stars (also saw them at HRL, awesome band)

Feist

The alternating hour long set times are a terrible idea, especially combined with the rectangular layout of the place. If you want a good spot at any of the shows, you're going to have to wait through an hour of down time.

If you're more the jump around type, you won't get a good spot at any of the shows, and perhaps half the time you're going to have to run across the entire length of the rectangle to get to the show you want to see. Either way, if you stay for the end of a show, no matter what you will miss the start of the next show. And when you consider that EVERYONE at the festival is going to be changing spots at the SAME time, there's going to be a ridiculous amount of cross-cutting traffic while you're trying to hurry to see that next band you want to see. It's really a terrible system, especially for the layout they have.
